Hardwoods of particular interest include willow, poplar and eucalypt. In time we expect to be able to extend our technology to softwoods, including Pinus Radiata slash.

For woodlots on pre-1990 land the report suggests possible replanting regime. Whereas for post-1989 land both ETS continuation, deregistration and registration options are canvassed. Forest right lease options are also canvassed to enhance immediate cashflow.
